Polar bears and grizzly bears are both mammals in the Ursidae family. They’re both extremely large bears. Although polar bears take the crown of being the largest bear species.
Grizzly bears don’t eat much meat. They prefer berries and flowering plants.
Polar bears have higher metabolism and eat almost exclusively meat. Polar bears don’t hibernate. They welcome the harshest winter conditions and continue hunting year round.
Grizzly bears will fatten up for long winter hibernation.
